I'm a Product Designer and customer advocate based in New York City. With expertise in Front-end technologies and VoC (Voice of the Customer), I excel at clearly communicating ideas across diverse teams, including Users, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product.
Outside of work, I like experimenting with new cooking recipes, diving into fiction or poetry, gaming and streaming, or exploring NYC's culinary scene with friends and family.
Some might say they are climbing a corporate ladder, but for me, it’s more like a spiderweb! 🕸️
I started off wanting to become a writer, and focused on English Literature in undergrad. My passion for writing led life-changing internships at The Nation magazine and uInterview.
At first, I thought I would learn more about the publishing industry and become a writer, but I found I was more inspired by the talented UX Designers that were helping shape the future of publishing for a digital age.
I wanted to learn more about the tech space after that, and landed a role as a Junior UX Designer in the Voice of Customer space, where I gained hands-on experience working directly with users, listening to their needs and finding solutions to collect feedback from users in websites, mobile apps, and email campaigns.
Tech stuff: animations, state management, 3D design, and game design. Fun stuff: pasta-making, Omakase (sushi making), streaming.
Spain. Specifically, Madrid, and a small town called Vic. I’ve fallen in love with Jamón Serrano and Paella. 🍤
I would have to say Plannit! It was the first time I put my self in the shoes of a founder by coming up with an original concept. I architected the entire road map for development and led developers through the agile process, organized brainstorming sessions, and designed wireframes based on our findings. I loved this project for the experiences I gained from working in a team and to build a product that solves an important problem for event planners, which resonates with me as a previous event coordinator.
Notion has been my secret weapon in my career, because of it’s easy-to-use interface, and that it gives me the ability to quickly create pages, databases, and organize my data and thoughts. The biggest feature that makes it stand out from other text editors is the ability to easily manipulate and move around blocks of text without having to select to highlight text manually with your cursor. Such action can actually lead to inaccurate formatting and leads to my (and others) frustration.
